Stacy Wendell has been with WFDU- FM for almost twelve years now and it all began with Classic Country; God had another plan. Stacy heeded the call and asked WFDU management to consider Gospel in their programming. On June 1st, 1999 "Gospel Revelations" was born and WFDU-FM would never be the same again. Stacy was named host and Traditional Gospel Music Director.
Stacy has worked in the entertainment field since the age of 15 and by the grace of God her wisdom often out weighs her years. Born and raised in NJ she is sensitive to the needs of the NY/NJ metro area listeners and respects them a great deal. A graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting Stacy is well versed in many areas of broadcasting, promotions, and event planning, but radio remains her first joy. Stacy is a member of the Gospel Announcer's Guild. In June of 2009, in honor of her 10 year broadcasting anniversary, the Freeholders of Bergen County New Jersey declared June 6, 2009 as “Stacy Wendell Day”.
In addition to her many accomplishments in broadcasting Stacy is a featured writer for The Love Express Christian Newspaper. She is currently pursing her BA in Christian Counseling at Somerset Christian College and is a graduate of The New York Theological Seminary Certificate Program. In February 0f 2007 Stacy was consecrated for service as a Missionary and is currently a Minister in Training at Trinity Baptist Church , in Hackensack NJ where Rev. Jonathan B. Whitfield is her Pastor.
In her spare time Stacy treasures time with family and friends. She loves to cook and you can often find her in the kitchen rattling pots adding her special ingredient to every dish… love.
